September - Pencil and Pen and Ink Techniques. We will learn about the tools of the trade and professional pencil and art pens. Emphasis is on pencil and pen techniques and tonal values to get realistic effects. $65 + $20 Supply Fee
October- Seeing and Drawing Shape. We will learn how to see shapes in everyday objects and translate 3D objects to the 2D paper. I guarantee you will become a much better realistic artist. $65 + $20 Supply Fee
November - Portrait Drawing. I t is best if you take September and October classes in preparation for the portrait drawing class. But it not, there is still plenty to learn. We will learn about proportions, getting a likeness and the anatomy of different aspects of the face. $65 + $20 Supply Fee
Discounted Fall Semester Price The discounted semester tuition includes September, October and November at $55 a month. A saving of $30 and an additional savings of $40 in supply fees. $165 +$20 Supply Fee
Kristine's education and experience in illustration and composition bring an original style, sensitivity, and craftsmanship to her work. She has offered numerous workshops in art centers and galleries and has a studio in Hastings Nebraska.
She has won numerous awards and exhibitions including Nebraska Arts Council, Longwell Museum, Bone Creek Museum of Agrarian Art and the Museum of Nebraska Art, She was featured in the April 2016 issue of Art and Architecture Magazine as an emerging artist to watch. Her work has been purchased for use on Hollywood movie sets, corporations, hospitals and private collectors as far away as Canada and Sri Lanka.
She and her family reside in the Hastings Nebraska where she finds inspiration in the always changing seasons, native grasses and vast prairie landscapes
