GPCAA is an arts organization.  Every spring we come together for a week of art, craft, food and fellowship in a beautiful  camp like setting on the bluffs of the Platte River.  

Your registration includes lodging and  food,  leaving you freedom to immerse yourself in a week of classes with master teachers

Batik Workshop

Lab and Supply Fee $55 for a two color batik  $75 for a three color batik. 

Participants will learn the chemicals, dyes, tools and process used in creating a batik on muslin using traditional batik techniques. The finished fat quarter muslin batik will be suitable for sewing and quilting projects. It can also be displayed as a fine art piece. A two color batik will take  2-3 hours or more to to complete.  Allow for a second day and additional work time for a three color batik. Allow a day for removing the wax. If you plan to use the batik in a sewing project, you will need to have the muslin dry cleaned to remove the last remnants of wax.

This fee does not include camp registration and lodging.


GPCAA Camp Registration and Cost


Choose from three camp packages.  Each package includes meals and/or lodging.    

If you choose a package with more than one person in the room, we'll assign you a roommate.  If you plan to room with a friend, be sure to list their full name on the registration form.

 Your membership fee is included in the registration. 

Your classes are not included in the package price. When you arrive at camp, you choose and only pay for the classes you plan to take.
